The Bayer Wii Game was a custom-built interactive multiplayer game designed to educate participants about Bayer’s products and key messages in a fun and competitive way. The game utilized the Wii infrared sensor and remote controllers, blending technology and creativity to deliver a memorable experience.
Game Stages:
Race to the Finish Line:
Up to 4 participants competed in a virtual race, navigating their way to the finish line using Wii remotes to earn points.
Quiz Challenge:
After the race, participants answered quiz questions about Bayer’s products and key messages.
Points were awarded for correct answers, with the highest-scoring participant winning a prize.
Unique Features:
Inspired Design:
The game concept was inspired by the classic bead maze toy (also known as a "wire bead maze" or "roller coaster bead toy"), reimagined in a digital format.
Custom Implementation:
While not a full Wii game, the project used the Wii infrared sensor and remotes to create a seamless, interactive experience.
Designed and developed entirely from scratch, from brainstorming the concept to full implementation.
My Role:
I originated the idea for the game and was responsible for every aspect of its development:
Conceptualized the game mechanics and user experience.
Developed the software, integrating the Wii remote functionality with the game engine.
Implemented custom interactions and visuals to align with Bayer’s brand identity.
The Bayer Wii Game showcased an innovative approach to blending education and entertainment, engaging participants through interactive gameplay while effectively communicating Bayer’s key messages.
