I'm Almog, a hands-on fractional CTO and senior software engineer with 15+ years of experience. I help startups and growing companies make the right AI and architecture calls, then I build them: production AI agents, LLM integrations, and the full-stack systems around them.

I run my own AI-powered SaaS company, so every recommendation I give a client is one I've already tested with my own product, my own users, and my own money. I'm the founder and CEO of DogBase, an AI-powered platform used by professional working-dog teams in 15+ countries, from law enforcement K9 units to search and rescue organizations. DogBase went through Techstars ('23), won the Latitude59 2026 Pitch Competition out of 465 startups from 53 countries, and is a member of NVIDIA Inception.
Before DogBase, I founded Scoreoid, a gaming SaaS used by over 5,000 developers, and Platfarm, an agri-tech company that exited via share sale. Along the way I've been through Microsoft for Startups and The Junction (F2 Venture Capital), and I've presented on stages from the World Police Summit in Dubai to Frontex in Krakow.

When I'm not coding, I serve as a K9 Search and Rescue handler with my Belgian Malinois, Echo, locating missing persons and supporting public safety operations. My field experience includes operations with the Unidad Canina de Busqueda y Rescate de Castellon in Spain. This work is also where DogBase was born: I built the platform to solve problems I faced firsthand as a handler. I don't just build software for users, I am one.
