The Fliex Interactive Attraction was a captivating and educational installation designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of Medtronic’s medical products through an immersive and interactive experience. The centerpiece was a life-like, animated doll named “Fliex,” equipped with internal LEDs and synchronized animations to illustrate different pain scenarios and their relief through Medtronic’s solutions.
Key Features:
Dynamic Animations: Fliex's internal LEDs played specific animations based on the type of pain being demonstrated, providing a visually engaging representation of how Medtronic’s medical products addressed various conditions.
Scenario-Based Learning: Each pain animation triggered detailed animated scenarios that showcased the product's ability to alleviate pain, providing participants with a clear understanding of its benefits.
Custom Desktop Application: Each participant had access to a computer station with a tailored desktop application synced to Fliex.
The application explained each scenario in depth and demonstrated additional Medtronic medical products.
It included a real-time benchmarking system, allowing participants to answer questions and view aggregated responses from other attendees in real-time.
Interactive Experience: The seamless integration between Fliex and the desktop application ensured an engaging and informative experience, reinforcing product benefits through interaction and immediate feedback.
My Role:
I was responsible for developing the entire interactive attraction, from the animation system within Fliex to the custom desktop application and real-time synchronization. This project showcased my ability to combine hardware and software to deliver an immersive, educational, and engaging experience for attendees.
The Fliex Interactive Attraction successfully demonstrated Medtronic's medical products in a way that was both impactful and memorable, blending technology and creativity to communicate complex concepts with clarity and innovation.
