// services / product engineering
From prototype to a product people pay for
A whole product or one feature, owned end to end by one senior engineer: talking to your users, UX and design, backend to frontend on web and mobile, then the KPIs, tracking and customer follow-up that show it’s working. From $15,000.
// sound familiar?
- You proved the idea with a prototype, and now it has to be a real product
- Nobody can tell you whether the last release moved a number
- It works in the builder’s preview and breaks on a real phone
- Payments, auth and analytics are half done, and you can’t tell which half
- Your product is live, and the backlog grows faster than anyone ships
// what you get
A whole product or one feature, owned end to end: from talking to your users to the numbers that show it worked.
- Discovery: talking to your users, and deciding with you what to build first and what to leave out
- UX and UI design: flows and screens that feel designed, not generated
- Backend to frontend: APIs, data, web and mobile (Next.js, Flutter), built with AI, owned by an engineer
- Payments, auth and infrastructure: the boring parts that make it a business
- KPIs and tracking from day one: product analytics like Mixpanel, error monitoring like Sentry
- After launch: reaching out to customers, reading the data, and shipping the next round
// how it works
From your users to the numbers, and back
You see the flows before any code, working software every week after that, and the data that says whether it worked.
- 01
Discover and define
Calls with your users, what to build first, and the KPIs that will say it worked. It starts with a free 30-minute call.
- 02
Design and scope
The core flows and UI, designed and clicked through before any code. A written scope and a fixed quote.
- 03
Build
Backend, APIs, web and mobile, in weekly milestones on your repo, with tests where money and data move.
- 04
Launch, measure, iterate
Analytics and error monitoring live on day one. I follow up with your first customers, read the data, ship the next round, then hand over.
// pricing
Fixed price, agreed before the build
No hourly billing. You get the price with the scope.

“We hired Almog to build our MVP in Meteor because of his experience with the framework. While the project took longer than expected (tell me one that doesn’t), we always followed the budget, with minimal scope reduction. The end result was a platform that was simple to refactor and easy to develop new features.”

Questions
What does “end to end” include?
Everything from talking to your users to knowing whether it worked: discovery, UX and UI design, backend and frontend on web and mobile, payments and auth, KPIs and product analytics (Mixpanel, PostHog or similar), error monitoring (Sentry), the launch, and follow-up with your first customers.
Do you design too?
Yes. I design the core flows and the UI before building them, so your product doesn’t look like every other AI-built launch. If you have a designer, I work from their files.
Which stack do you use?
Usually Next.js and TypeScript for the web, Flutter for iOS and Android from one codebase, and Go or Node on Google Cloud. If you already have a stack that works, I build on it.
Do I own the code?
All of it, from the first commit: it lives in your repo and your cloud accounts, documented so another engineer can pick it up.
Can you work with my team and codebase?
Yes. I read the codebase before changing it, follow your conventions and review process, and leave the team able to own what I built.
I built v1 in Lovable, Bolt or Replit. Now what?
Often the right move is to keep it and harden it, not rebuild. If you’re not sure, start with the 48-hour Launch-Blocker Audit ($595); it tells you which parts to keep.
Have a prototype that needs to become a product?
Start with a free 30-minute call. Honest feedback on fit, even if the answer is “you don’t need me.”
